Sacramento Coastal Cleanup Day

Caltrans, through its Stormwater Campaign “Use This, Get That,” and River City Waterway Alliance are inviting local volunteers to help clean up the riverbank at Robert T. Matsui Park on Saturday, Sept. 19 in honor of the 42nd Annual California Coastal Cleanup Day. This critical cleanup will remove trash, litter, and other waste ahead of the first heavy rains of the season, preventing polluted stormwater from flowing untreated into local rivers, creeks, lakes, and the ocean.
